Portrait photography
Portrait photography is defined as capturing the personality of a person through the use of a camera.
I'm sure we all have a million pictures of ourselves that have been taken with a smart-phone. We can even turn ourselves into cartoon characters or add animation around us which is pretty cool. But in all honesty, those smartphone cameras have a sensor (what digitally captures the image) about the size of of a pen's tip. If you're looking at a professional camera, that sensor is larger than the size of a postage stamp - that's a huge difference! The larger the sensor on a camera, the more details and colors are captured. The editing ability is amazing when more information is digitally captured. Also, with high-quality digital negatives you can actually make tangible products (prints, blankets, albums, etc.) that you and your family can cherish forever!
Definitely keep snapping photos with your phone (any picture is better than no picture!), but everyone should have professional portraits taken every so often. Having "real" pictures will be appreciated by everyone for their beauty and quality.
Have you been dreaming of creating your own pin-up girl session? Want friends, family, hobbies or pets in your photos? It's completely up to you how you want to do it, just know that the options are limitless. If you can put it in front of a camera, we can take a photo of it.
Here are some of the portraits we recommend:

Photo shoots typically last between 1-2 hours and can be done in studio or on location throughout New England.
